ACM SigGame First Annual Meeting
Interested in helping create a real game? (Not those wimpy CS course games)
Have some art skills? Want to learn?
Join SigGame!
SigGame (Special Interest Group for Game Development) will be meeting next Friday, high noon for our first annual meeting of the school year. Bring your bathing suits and leave your laptops behind, since we’ll getting together at the University’s pool!
I’ll be giving an introduction of what Caffeine and SSH are, then I’ll give an overview of the game engine, my envisioned architecture and plans for the feature. That being said, I’ll go over the immediate plans for the next few weeks, and assign projects to anyone who is interested. Chris may also go over the basic design for SSH. There is a LOT of work to be done, and not just coding!
I welcome anyone who is interested in joining SigGame, regardless of programming knowledge or experience. If you’ve always been interested in game programming, game design, game art or just like playing games…. come join us!
