Hello Everyone,

Come and join the LUG and ACM in this cool outing! It will take place Thursday September 20th from 5:00PM onward. RSVP is required.

From IBM:

“Our first tech talk will take place at the IBM Innovation Center in downtown Chicago at 71 S Wacker. IBM representatives will be providing a tour of their data center and discussing IBM’s commitment to the open-source community. In particular, they will be highlighting the upcoming release of WebSphere Application Server Community Edition 2.0, a free Java Application Server based off of the Apache Geronimo project. This talk will also be in conjunction with their monthly WebSphere Users Group meeting, providing a chance for students to mingle with industry professionals.”

This is a great opportunity to network!

If you are interested in coming, RSVP to: rserra3@uic.edu including your full name for building security purposes.

We will be meeting in the ACM office at 4:45PM on Thursday prior to heading out to walk to the Innovation Center.
