[Acm-announce] Next ACM meeting is THURSDAY (2/12) at 5:30, "GPU Programming"

Hello guys,

The next ACM meeting will be Thursday (2/12) at 5:30pm in SEO 1000.

Professor Mitchell Theys will discuss GPU programming.  Inside your  
computer there's a lot more processing power than you're using.  The  
graphics card processor has advanced to the point where, for many  
applications, it is far faster than your CPU.  Come to the talk and  
learn how to take advantage of your GPU and learn about some of the  
newest research going into programming for it.

There will be food, drink, and merriment, as usual.
