We're having our practice competition this Thursday evening, from 5 pm to 9 pm, to give the software a run through and make sure everything works. Additionally, we're still looking for volunteers for this Saturday. If you are available for either of these times, even if you think you've already bee counted, please send me an email so we can get a final count. ~Sean Deitz, ACM President sdeitz2 at uic.edu From bdenne2 at uic.edu Mon Oct 19 23:27:37 2009 From: bdenne2 at uic.edu (Bryanna Denney) Date: Mon, 19 Oct 2009 23:27:37 -0500 Subject: [Acm-announce] Movie Night Message-ID: [image: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/7b/Johnny_mnemonic_ver1.jpg] Friday October 23rd 6pm CS Lounge (SEL 2260) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... This Thursday, Niko Bessinas will be leading a workshop on Eclipse and Java. If you don't know much (or anything at all) about the IDE Eclipse, you should come and we'll help you get set up. If there's time, we'd like experts or long time users of Eclipse to give us some details of their experiences and what they think Eclipse is good for. This is especially true for those who have used Eclipse with less standard plugins, or perhaps even just using Eclipse with C and C++ programming. There will be cheesecake and sandwiches being served. 5:30 pm, SEO 1000. ~Sean Deitz, ACM President From bdenne2 at uic.edu Tue Oct 27 14:49:33 2009 From: bdenne2 at uic.edu (Bryanna Denney) Date: Tue, 27 Oct 2009 14:49:33 -0500 Subject: [Acm-announce] movie night Message-ID: [image: http://www.impawards.com/1970/posters/colossus_the_forbin_project.jpg] Friday October 30th 6pm Cs Lounge (SEL 2260) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
