[Acm-announce] ACM Officers Elections Reminder

This is a reminder that the ACM officers elections for the 2012-2013 term
will be held April 12. The positions available are Chairman,
Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, and Secretary. Position roles are outlined in
the UIC ACM bylaw, acm.cs.uic.edu/bylaws.

Those interested in running need to show up at the beginning of the
meeting to officially announce their interest and those wishing to become
officers are required to become National ACM members, are need to be
chapter members, either before or promptly after the election.

In order to vote at the election you must be a UIC ACM chapter member.

Feel free to discuss the election or announce or intention to run on the
ACM general mailing list, acm at uic.edu. Those with questions about the
election or the positions, please email the ACM officers mailing list,
acm-officers at uic.edu.
