Hello ACMers,

The LANSoft section of the ACCC is starting to hire for the next semester.
This is not a lab consultant position, but a more technical position.
LANSoft is known for managing things like SCCM, software installs, VM
maintenance, Windows and Mac infrastructure maintenance, etc... You can
find more details in the forwarded message below. LANSoft seems to be the
first section to have posted opening, but I suspect there will be more
coming soon.

Any current & former LANSoft students are free to chime in if you have
anything else to add.

Regards,
Chase Lee

Subject: LANSoft is hiring

Hi everyone,

With all of the current LANSoft students graduating at the end of the
Spring, we have a few positions opening up soon. We have advertised for
these positions on UIC's student employment website, and wanted to let you
all know about them. If you think you'd like to learn about endpoint
management, and all that it entails (such as software packaging, automating
deployments, imaging, virtualization, and more), follow the instructions
below and apply.

1. Visit the following link and log in with your account. (If you don't
remember if you made an account in the past, just click on "Forgot
Password" and type in your UIC email as the username)

https://uic-csm.symplicity.com/

2. Once logged in, search for a position ID of 58052. This position is
titled "Computer Specialist 1".
3. Submit your application.

We don't expect candidates to have any experience, we just hope to find
some applicants who are interested in IT, and are motivated to learn.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us, or stop by the LAN
office and we'll do our best to answer them.
