Otherwise have a good day. :) Check out the ACM site for current SIGs you can get involved with: Check out the SIGs here! SIGs are student lead groups focused on learning and exploring a particular topic. In the past these groups have had a single student leader teaching other students something they know about. BUT SIGs can also be groups of students learning together. If you want to learn about a topic but haven't had the motivation alone, start a SIG so you can learn with a group! It can be more fun learning with people and you can share the new things you learn. If you think something is interesting you can find other people who think it's interesting too. To start a new SIG refer to the information below for further action: For new and continuing SIGs fill out the following information on the Google form: SIG Proposal Form . This information should be on your web pages. - Name - Contact email - SIG name - SIG purpose - Agenda for first 8 weeks - Supplies needed from ACM (any supplies needing purchasing will need to be approved by ACM Treasurer) ?Running SIGs will be required to: - Hold at least one meeting every 2 weeks. - ?Record number of attendees. - Update calendar with meeting information at least *ONE WEEK* in advance (set up a reoccurring event for SIG meetings). - ?Email meeting reminders at least *ONE DAY* in advance. ?Thanks,?
