[Acm-announce] Welcome back for spring 2016! Interested in starting a SIG?

​​Hi everyone,

Welcome back for the spring 2016 semester!

If you are interested in starting a special interest group (SIG) please
send an email to officers at acm.cs.uic.edu with a summary of what you want to
do and when you would like to host your SIG by end of day (EOD) *Wednesday
January 20*. Got an agenda in mind? Include it :D SIG meetings typically
run once a week. Please keep in mind the ACM would like to hold SIGs after
typical class hours to avoid time conflicts.

An officer will contact you by EOD Thursday about your SIG submission. All
SIG meetings will start by the 3rd week of the semester. SIG announcements
will be posted to the listserv and appropriate media by EOD Friday January
22.

officers.
