[Acm-announce] SIGSysAdmin Meeting Intro Meeting - Monday, January 30, 2017

Hello All,

I hope you are have a good start to the new semester.  Based on the poll
sent out earlier, we will be holding meeting on Mondays @ 5:30PM.  The next
meeting will be on *Monday, January 30, 2017 @ 5:30PM* in the ACM/LUG
Office (SELE 2264).

For those of you just getting started with System Administration, I invite
you go get familiar with Linux, as we'll be using it for most of the tasks
that we do.  A good site to get started with is: https://linuxjourney.com/

This will mostly be a introduction meeting for any newcomers.  For those of
you returning, we'll be having a crash course in bash scripting! :-)

If you have anything you want to look into, bring those ideas to the
meeting!

If you have any questions with beginning a task/project for SIGSysAdmin,
please feel free to bring it up on the listserv or at the meeting.
