====== UPS 2 ======

UPS 2 is the second rack mount UPS in the [[equipment:main server rack]] along with [[equipment:ups1|UPS 1]] and [[equipment:ups3|UPS 3]]. It is a 2U UPS with an array of 6 12V batteries wired in series that are, in theory, accessible by removing the front panel and sliding the battery unit out, but usually you need to remove the entire top cover as the weight of the batteries causes too much friction with the rests they sit on.
