Subject: Tuition plus $20,000 scholarships for UIC CS majors

Dear UIC Computer Science majors,

Prof. Sloan and I have just received over $1.5 million from the
National Science Foundation's Scholarships for Service program to be used
for scholarships for students who are no more than 4 semesters from
graduation and who wish to focus in computer security. The scholarships are
extremely generous: they cover the full tuition, a bit of the fees, and in
addition have a $20,000/year stipend. The "for service" part is that you are
obligated to take a job with some unit of the federal, state, or some local
government for 1-2 years after graduation (in computer security, paying the
standard government rate). US citizenship is required.

If you are interested, please apply immediately.
