Subject: Web Programmers Needed at ACCC

Hello all,

By the way of a quick intro, I'm the Assistant Director for Applications
Development at ACCC as well as a former Red Hatter and free software zealot.

ACCC is in the process of rolling out WordPress to the campus and is in
need of developers to develop WordPress plugins in PHP and support users
with customizing their sites with CSS.  We've also got projects involving
development of REST interfaces for use from JavaScript and also providing
interfaces for mobile development.  In addition to that, we've got
opportunity for GNU/Linux sysadmins, particularly those with experience
with Red Hat/CentOS/Fedora distributions.

This can be an opportunity for student employment that can turn into
full-time employment as a developer or GNU/Linux systems administrator with
UIC ACCC.  If you do go on to a full-time position you would be eligible
for tuition waivers for graduate level education.

So if you're wondering what comes next after graduation and you are the
sort of person who likes to be able to choose your tools and have authority
over your projects then ACCC may be exactly what you're looking for.

If you're interested, please send me a resume off-list and please highlight
your skills.  Of particular interest are PHP, Perl, MySQL, Apache, Web
Design, and JavaScript frameworks such as Dojo and JQuery.

I'll also be hanging out at the Flourish conference tomorrow morning at 9am
