[Acm-announce] CDK Global Tech Talk! - Thursday, October 27th

Hello everyone!

I hope you are making it through midterms well! ACM will be hosting a
company tech talk with *CDK Globa*l on *Thursday, October 27th at 5:30pm*
in the Computer Science Lounge (SEL-E 2268). Food will be provided!

This is a great opportunity for students who have a concentration in
Software Engineering and/or are interested in that area of Computer Science!

*Abstract:*

Do you want to be a Software Engineer? Come to a panel discussion from UIC
alumni to find out how the core curriculum and your electives prepare for
you for a career in Software Engineering. And learning doesn't stop after
college. There are some specific topics we wish we'd focused on learning
while we were in college instead of on the job. Come find out about some of
those topics as well as our favorite books and best habits. Bring questions
about this exciting field!
