-===== Config guest user =====
-In system Preferences >> Accounts:
-enable the guest account
-disable automatic login
-===== Alternative setup =====
-The mac named "river" has had AD logon enabled on it.  ACM users can use there AD account on this machine.
-I was working on shared home directories with ACM, but the problem I ran into is the UID's are not consistant.  The ACM server uses likewise to handle AD auth, and likewise uses it own hasing method to generate uid's.  Apple uses a different hashing method.  Apple has the option to use the UID from another field,  so I enabled unix services for AD on the AD server.  Likewise does not seem to have a similar option.  In the next server upgrade, I am going to recomend not using likewise, and using the AD server as a standard LDAP server for authentication and authorization.
-====== Other machines ======
-There are 3 G4 mac workstations available for use in the acm office.
-Another G4 is used to host the library server.  It currently displays a pictures slide-show. 3 more G4 mac machines are now set up in the ACM office for use.
